Yes, absolutely.

I rented it off gamefly a few months ago. I remember thinking it was a game I could have bought at full price.

$26 is a deal.

I had no problem throwing the $80 for the Collector's Edition at it, so, yes, it's most definitely worth at least $26. It may not be particularly "scary" for a horror game, but it's just a fantastic, solid experience and I would heartily recommend it at just about any price.
