It's a good game, not the greatest but with enough good mechanics and combat alterations it certainly feels different from others in the genre. I say rent first and if you end up liking it, give it a purchase.

I rented it, I couldn't play it because I really disliked the camera.

Not that it was bad, but it kind of made me nauseous. Lots of 3rd person over the shoulder shooters do.

I nearly shat myself during that entire game. I loved the story, and combat, but the dialog seemed a bit one sided.

Compaing a Sci Fi horror game set in space while you take on biological fuck ups, with a game set in a small American town fighting supernatural monsters.
I can totatlly see te comparison there.

I thought it was incredible.

Think Resident Evil 4 controls mixed with the setting of Event Horizon+Aliens with nasty aliens that are VERY persistent. Visually it's beautiful and the ship is well designed.

For 10 bucks how can you go wrong? Well besides not checking your if your PC can run it.

Definitely give it a try, as other said, for 10 bucks you can't go wrong.

While not an AMAZING game by any real standards, it's a great horror game especially for those who are just getting into the genre and it's original enough to keep your attention for the ride.

Again, it's not the best, but for 10 bucks it sure could be worse.

Getting introduced/ casual. Then YES.

I could only play it for a while before it was stale, but I can see the shock from the casual audience.

The game is ok. The story in it is decent, but it's all about the backstory. Watch the animated comics before you play. That will set the mood for the game.
