It's more of an opinion thing here. Some people would say that it's definitely worth it, others would say it's a big waste of money.

They DO have a lot of glitches, but they were pretty fun, nonetheless.

If you love the game and know you're going to play the DLCs, then yes they're worth it. If you bought them and find yourself disappointed for whatever reason, doesn't mean they're worthless, just not what you expected.

Personally, as much as I love FO3, I don't see myself finding the time to play the DLCs, so no, not worth it to me. But I stress, 'to me.'

I wasn't crazy about Operation Anchorage, but Broken Steel, The Pitt, and Point Lookout were well worth it. i have noticed that I'm more likely to freeze when playing Fallout since downloading the DLC.

You know they're going to put out a GOTY edition (or something to that effect) with the original game and all the DLC sometime soon, why not wait for that?

They weren't really worth it apart from Broken Steel and Point Lookout. The others didn't really bring enough to the table to justify the price tag. Now if they were cheaper, maybe.

Yeah, I'm doing the same thing. I think it comes out in October. I have the game already, but I'm gonna get the GOTY edition too.

I think that it depends on much you believe the few $s are worth it...i think operation had mostly kool new goodies (That i managed to glitch out =D) Broken Steel is the only must have because of the continued play and see what happened after the vanilla ending...The pit had great atomsphere, point lookout was alright although i never really explored it much..and Zeta has ailens up to you

I thought they were all worth it, even Operation: Anchorage sine you got the Chinese stealth armor and Gauss rifle out of it. But I guess it just depends on how much you enjoy Fallout 3 if you would think $50 of DLC is worth it or not.

There are glitches, yes, but I enjoy them all, so I'd buy them again if given the option.

Point Lookout and Broken Steel are must-haves, the first because it tells an interesting tale and adds a lot, and the second because it raises the level cap and continues the main story. Oh yeah, and getting a Lever-Action Rifle early on as a low-level character kicks ass/breaks the game (depending on how you look at it).

I liked Operation Anchorage a lot more than other people did for some reason. Yes, it was short and different game play wise, but it was still coherent and fun.

The Pitt, however, I abhored, mostly because of the depressing art direction and some of the enemies. Too much brown.

Mothership Zeta I have still to complete, so no verdict yet there.

I loved every last one of them. But then again, being a Bethesda, Fallout and Achievement lover, I had to get them!

I did like The Pitt, and (Unlike some) Mothership Zeta. All of them were good, in my opinion, though.

I downloaded all the DLCs at day-one(s) and I can tell that that money is too much, but I'm finally happy to have them. The Pitt and Anchorage weren't that good, but Broken Stell and Point Lookout are very good (Broken Steel the best, for the 30 level cap), Mothership Zeta is not bad and not good, too hard and too boring but quite interesting.

Every one of them has some use and value to me, at least for my playstyle. Operation Anchorage is mainly good for the Power Armor Training Perk, the (glitched essentially indestructible) T-51B Power Armor, and Chinese Stealth Armor, The Pitt for the Silenced, Scoped Automatic Rifle, Point Lookout for the gaming experience of it (not to mention the Lever Action Rifle), Broken Steel for the Level Cap Boost and a couple of nice Perks (Puppies! and Almost Perfect) Mothership Zeta for the Katana and the rayguns. So, yeah, I feel I got my entertainment dollars' worth out of 'em.
