I don't believe so. I feel better in the morning and perform better in the morning if I've had a few extra hours of sleep.

What do you think and why?

Yeah. At least for me.

I'm not a morning person, so getting up early has no benefits for me. I do far better at night, therefore, I stay up until around...4 or 5AM

Going to bed early is awesome, although I am a natural early bird (I can wake up before 7 naturally) so I get tired early regardless unless I'm out doing stuff, then I can stay up late.

Although I don't know who "overrates" going to bed early, since it's not really a cool thing to do

It's underrated. The sooner before midnight you retire, the better the average quality of sleep will be.

It depends. If I have something to do early in the morning, I'll go to bed around 9:00pm. If not, I'll stay up pretty late, maybe 2:00-3:00am, then sleep in the next day.

Not a morning person at all. I'm dead in the morning regardless if I went to sleep at 10pm or 2am. So I say screw wasting hours by getting to sleep early. Hazzah!

I do not believe it is overrated, but I do not usually go to bed early. I usually just go to bed at a time that allows me to have about 8 hours of sleep, depending on when I need to wake up in the morning.

It's not 'overrated' in the slightest. Some people have different clocks that mean they only need a certain amount of sleep, but if you're a teenager, you need at least 9 hours of sleep a day (yes, that sounds like alot, but if you wanna grow, you gotta do it). I get up early most days and sometimes I feel good with only 7 or 6 hours sleep under my belt, but 8 or 9 hours and I can do anything. I don't eat much either, so sleep is the best thing giving me energy.

It's 2:45 in the morning, of course it's goddam overrated. If I need to get up early, I get up early. If not, I'll wake up in the afternoon.

Nope, I feel better if I go to bed late, because I'm actually tired. If I'm not tired I can't sleep. Then I'm up all night because I'm bored. Also, at what time do you consider an all-nighter complete? I once stayed up till 5:30, but I was so bored I went to bed. From 12:00 am to 7:00 it's infomercials.

If I could, I would. My body clock has been messed up ever since I worked 3rd shift at one of my jobs. Now, I can't fall asleep any earlier than 3am. It sucks.

I normally stay up pretty late with no effects in the morning. I have actually made my body used to only sleaping for a few hours. Takes a load of coffee though.

No, I do not take naps. I like to have my sleep taken care of all in a big lump of hours.

When I don't have school, I always sleep at 2:00 am or later. I'm not a morning person.

For me its really what time I get up. I've gone to bed at 2 and woken up a 9 and been fine.

I've gone to bed at 11 and woken up at 6 and felt terrible. All that really matters is that i;ve taken a shower, it wakes me up
