I think you need an option 'no, your example isn't free but that does not mean by extension that nothing is free'.

In relation to the orange offer it is free with a catch, you cannot just have the free seat, between two people you have to pay for one seat, you have to be with a (in my experience) shitty provider (orange) and you will be stuck in a crowded cinema listening to people graze on popcorn talk, piss about with phones and ruin the film for me... Yeah not a big fan of cinemas.

Opportunity cost man. Imagine, if your lungs didn't have to constantly be breathing for you. They could get so much more done. End world hunger, cure cancer, etc.

To be fair the moment everyones lungs stop working for them ending world hunger and curing cancer become somewhat irrelavent.
