Perfect, thanks matetippy2k2 said:I thought I had it all covered with the "we don't get snow" for the southern half of the planet but I forgetted that there IS another side of this planet where winter is not coming...

Back home in northern Norway there's apparently been a shitload of snow already though. Pretty normal for this time of year up there.
Another North Dakotan here, and I can confirm that what both of these people say is correct. The ground hasn't frozen yet, and the temperature is hovering at around freezing, so I'd give it a week or two before we start getting any serious snow fall.WeepingAngels said:Magic City in North Dakota here. We got snow today but it didn't stick. Our 6 months of winter is coming.
Not over the past couple of years, we've been having colder winters and hotter summers over the past 5 years.Esotera said:It's pretty rare that we get snow here (UK)
Still it doesn't snow here anything near as much as in Canada/some parts of the US. We've had maybe a week of snow spread out over the year as far as I can remember...but I am quite far south.Sizzle Montyjing said:Not over the past couple of years, we've been having colder winters and hotter summers over the past 5 years.Esotera said:It's pretty rare that we get snow here (UK)
OP: No, it's only October, give us a chance!
No, it doesn't, but that's not really a surprise, UK has a very unique climate.Esotera said:Still it doesn't snow here anything near as much as in Canada/some parts of the US. We've had maybe a week of snow spread out over the year as far as I can remember...but I am quite far south.
