My wife and I's unborn child will be named Tali'Zorah Lynn [lastname] if it's a girl. This was decided in January of 2008 and ME3 hasn't changed that. It's not so much that she's named after Tali herself (though there is that aspect), but we both fell in love with the name the instant we heard it while saving her from Fist. Lynn is hers, and 4 generations of female middle names. So no, hopefully it's not wrong, though I don't much care.

If it's a boy, then the name is Cecil Stone [lastname]. Yes, FFIV Cecil. We're not nerds, I swear to God!

When my mom was pregnant with my my parents had two names picked out, one was a car (Shelby) and the other was a Star Trek character (Rena). As long as the name won't get the kid laughed at through school or trouble finding a job it's fine.

Depends on the name. Ordinary names like Nathan, Jack or Lara are fine. Clementine's a lovely name, as is Mario if you are Italian. But you need to be careful if you're planning on naming them anything like Snake, Chief, Bayonetta, Commander Shepard, Sephiroth, Samus Aran or Super Meat Boy because your child will probably be warped.

Short answer No. Long answer Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

All jokes aside its difficult to answer and it really depends on the name. Even though bioshock Infintie and dishonoured are amazing games, would anyone really be able to straight facedly call their child Booker or Corvo?

Unless the game had a huge effect on you I wouldn't bother because when the child finds out you want it to be a meaningful game/name and not just a bland shooter which you liked at the time.

Also, think of the child before chosing. Will they be given a hard time for their name? if so, is it realy worth it?

Alexia from resident evil code veronica. i always liked that name, same with ada.

if i had a boy i'd probably name him isaac (i guess dead space, although thats not my primary motive of that name)

my brother has always wanted to name his first born son vincent (yes, from final fantasy 7)

Obviously, it depends on the name. Were I to name my child Alex, I rather doubt people are going to point at him in school and go "Hey Alex, aren't you supposed to have blue hair? Gonna climb a mountain and steal unlimited alchemical power on top of your pre-existing hydrokinesis?"

I might get away with Auron, since Aaron is already a name and it doesn't sound too outrageous in my ears.

Not about to saddle him/her with something like Kalak'cha or Samus though.

CAPTCHA: Union Jack. Now see, Jack would be fine, but I'm not about to call him Union...

But naming the kid Dovakin, Number 47 or Conker is just fucking stupid. Come on, the poor little kid has to live with that for the rest of his life, man. Smarten up.
I don't know if I should laugh or cry that my name is one letter off of one of those; after you just said that I'm thinking more of cry.

Though it derived from Highlander so it can't be all that bad.
