Poll: Is Minecraft a game?

I have heard a lot of debate over this topic, and I want to know what the general consencus is. If you consider Minecraft a game, then what justifies it, and if not then what is it instead?

Um... yeah? I'm not really sure what else it could be, really. Seriously, somebody tell me what possible justification they could provide for calling it anything but a game...

How is it not a game? You interact with it, don't you? It's entertainment, isn't it? Therefore Minecraft is a game.
