OT: Sequels will always carry a sense of repetition, some just may be more then others.
It's certainly not as big of a rip off as Halo 3: ODST was.

Uh, it's a seaqul it's SUPPOSED to be like the first other one.

So the maps smaller, i found it a huge pain in the ass to trek all the way across miles and miles of wastes just to get to a nowhere town to sell some soda.

This is bethesda and obsinan were talking about here patron saints of buggy games and it just came out yestrday mods take months to make.

So people are complaining that a sequel is more or less the same as it's predecessor, a game that a whole lot of people enjoyed, except for it's new setting? Fascinating....

Honestly I wish they had made it completely different. We'd still get people bitching but at least they'd have a leg to stand on...

I was under the impression the world was bigger, i havn't played it yet, but how can you rip off a game that is your predecessor, Dosn't that mean any sequal is a rip-off.

he meant rip off as in not worth the price. Not rip-off as in stolen material.
OT: i don't really know, never played either game, but i tend to agree with you from what I've heard.

In that case it can be considered by those who want a big innovation over the last one to be a rip-off, just like how Left 4 Dead 2 can be considered since it is just basically a expansion of the last and adds little to the series.

In my opinion i think it's not a rip-off.

I didn't buy it. And I don't plan on buying it either. I couldn't even play Fallout 3. No matter what I did, patch, reinstallation of OS, installation of Windows 7, known fixes etc. nothing worked. The game kept freezing in interiors.

That said supposedly the map is actually larger but it is mostly by being expanded in the north which probably makes it seem much narrower to you.

I must agree, it does look shit. I'm downloading it try it out first, I know I'll quit within the first 20 minutes and never buy it, but I'm open to it proving me wrong. I liked the first F3 for a while, so more F3 is like why the fuck bother, I'm already bored of F3, I don't want more of the same!

Just started playing and already hell no, it's worth every dollar and more.

When I took a mission from Barton Thorn to save his girlfriend from geckos, he had just laid down to go to sleep even though it was urgent that the girl be saved. Guess he wasn't THAT concerned.

I've been playing New Vegas for a while now and i think it just should of been an expansion at a lower price not a full priced game.

New Vegas is just basically Fallout 3

Yes the bugs are back BUT THEY CAN AND WILL BE FIXED
There are no mods because the game was released yesterday and it's not even out in Europe yet!

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was basically GTA 3, only they fixed a lot of the problems.
Clearly, it should've been only an expansion pack.
