Also it was just released so of course there are bugs and no mods out, mods TAKE TIME!!!
While that's reasonable for mods, it's no excuse at all for bugs. Releasing a buggy game is unacceptable, Bethesda has yet to learn that.

Same thing with STALKER, yet we still love the games.

You start by bitching that it's basically the same as Fallout 3. Then you moan (in the same post) that it's not got a load of things that were in Fallout 3. The mind boggles.

I will be honest I am a little underwhelmed with the new Fallout. It is fun (don't get me wrong) but compared to 3 it lacks a little bit. There are things that I really like that were added such as factions and concocting new and fun things (reminds me of my time playing oblivion :) )

But in terms of quests I am a bit "meh" on the subject. the side quests do not (so far....I will admit I have not yet finished the game so who knows my opinion may change later down the road) give me that accomplishing feeling that I had when I beat the side quests in Fallout 3. The Story line is pretty neat though.

Like I said I have not yet finished the game and who knows maybe it will blow me away.......so anywho just my personal thoughts

What planet are you from, all sequels play the same way.
While this is generally true, saying all sequels are like their predecessors is garbage. Most recent example would be Dragon Age 2, but things like Master of Orion 3 and, more obviously, Duke Nukeum: Manhattan Project plays quite a bit differently than their predecessors.

Strange but very true. Vampire: The Masquerade as well. They're all so awesome, yet so buggy. How can we teach them their lesson? Not buying the games is clearly impossible.

Well guess I should have said most.

Well I started playing it and noticed it hasn't changed much from the old one,the "setting" is changed thats for sure and the gameplay is more improved than the previous Fallout.

Also tends to bring more of a "western" approach, which some people might not enjoy.

That said,it is a decent game to pass up the time :p

]If he was truly asking this, why would he make a list of negatives?
He's posting this for attention, the question is loaded and it's just an excuse to get his opinion out. Fine, except his opinion is meaningless if this thread is the only thing he has ever created.
Why does he make a list of negatives? because those are the reasons why he feels it is not worth 60 bucks, you don't have to agree with his reasons but the question remains. Hell even i think he gives bad reasons.

I've been playing New Vegas for a while now and i think it just should of been an expansion at a lower price not a full priced game.
Translation: Is all the new content worth the 60 dollar price tag?

I'm not even going over how ignorant that sentence is...
Yes anyone that disagrees with your view is ignorant. That's way quicker than sticking up for your statement, just wave me off as a bumbling internet moron.

He isn't really asking the question, just trying to start a debate. It's idiotic and it's pretty obvious when you have surfed through enough pointless threads. He isn't here for information, if you really think that then you must be new to this whole forum thing. He made this thread to disguise his opinion on the game he hasn't played as a question because he knows he will be called on it if he simply says he doesn't like the game he has never played.

It's obvious, I see no reason to defend this troll.
i never said you were ignorant because you have a different opinion i said you were ignorant for saying his opinion didn't matter because of his low post count
[strong]Who said anything about a low post count, I didn't even look to be honest.[/strong] I'm saying he knows nothing about game design so his opinion is pretty pointless.
He doesn't realize that a map can appear smaller yet still be bigger when you consider the indoor environments. This isn't the case, making his opinion even more pointless.
He just wants a soapbox, not an answer.

Strange how with New Vegas, no one agrees with him. But if it was Left 4 Dead 2 he was talking about, I could safely say over half of you would be agreeing. Funny how that works.
