Poll: Is Resident Evil 5 Racist?

I was discussing Resident Evil 5 with my friends the other day and we got into an argument on whether the new Resident Evil is racist or not since you're attacking an African village filled with zombies. Some of my friends said that it was racist since it involves massacring a minority, but I think it isn't racist because you're fighting zombies, not performing genocide, and Resident Evil 4 involves a Spanish village and no one really raised much attention on that. Anyway, what do you think?

It's not racist at all. People are just WAYY too quick to throw the racist card around. I mean, whenever something seems anywhere near controversial, it gets blown out of proportion. I don't believe it's racist, and if you look at that pictures description which I made some time ago, it should be evident. I don't really believe that if you kill a man, just because he's black that it becomes racist. (Note: If you kill a man BECAUSE he's black, I view THAT as racist)

Why does this game get all the attention when Far Cry 2 had me gunning down black people, Australians, Brits, and anyone else I could get between my cross hairs?

For s***'s sake, the game painted almost all black people in Africa as greedy, blood thirsty assholes who only care about themselves. There are a couple of positive characters like the reporter or the missionary but that's the minority.

One game is a sci-fi story about zombies that will undoubtedly be corny, one is a savage criticism of the civil war that rips countries apart in Africa daily. Why does one go unnoticed for having something to say while the nonsensical one gets all the attention?
