OK, so I was browsing Hulu yesterday and I came across this new show; whose premise quickly caught my attention.

The show is about Shaq (duh) competing against the world's greatest athletes of various sports, in an effort to prove himself to be "the world's greatest athlete." At first I thought to myself, oh no, not another celebrity ego trip, but then I watched a few episodes. I was surprised.

Of course, in the show, Shaq still acts like the over-confident giant we've all come to see him as, but what makes the show so worth watching is that he NEVER wins. Honestly, he hasn't beaten a single opponent yet, and in the last episode, he was forced to run across a beach in a pink swimsuit for losing. If you don't find that hilarious, you don't have as soul.

I looked the show up, and apparently, he's got Michael Phelps, Oscar de la Hoya and possibly Lance Armstrong booked as future competitors. In short, Shaq vs. is a show where Shaq humiliates himself every week. This brings up one question.

My question is; does this redeem him???

And for those of you who don't know what Shaq has to redeem himself for:

[HEADING=1]FOUR shitty rap albums[/HEADING]
[HEADING=1]THREE terrible movies[/HEADING]
[HEADING=1]COUNTLESS sell-out commercials[/HEADING]
[HEADING=1]THAT SHITTY GRIN! [small](seen to the left)[/small][/HEADING]
[HEADING=3]AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST:[/HEADING]

..........

..........

..........

So............do YOU think he's worthy of redemption?

Oh Shaq....

There is no redemption for one like you. Those albums and Shaq-Fu still exist. I'll forgive Kobe before I forgive him.

'Tis kind of funny though. How about he gets one successful free throw shot before he even mutters the word "sports" again?

You see, at first I thought you were serious, but you're obviously being facetious because Steel was the greatest movie since T.N.T. Jackson.

Why does Shaq need to be redeemed? I mean, welcome to capitalism, the guy wants to make money and try new things. Sure, he may not be good at them, but at least he never mooched off another's celebrity. It's all Shaq, baby. And it's obvious his efforts were focused at kids, for the most part, which he has. It's nice to be the cool dad. So he's got a new show which he probably thought would be fun. It's like a non-violent Fight Quest. But I doubt Shaq is worried about redeeming himself. If you don't like him, you're not his demographic.

Nobody attacked Jordan for Space Jam...
Because that film was awesome.

My thoughts exactly. What has he done for which he needs redemption? He won 4 NBA titles. Who cares if he made bad rap and movies? No one is making you listen to or watch them.

Thats because Space Jam has Looney Toon characters and is fucking awesome!

I like Shaq, he is a big, funny, cocky black man who is entertaining to watch whatever he does. Also, Shazam was an amazing movie.

I reckon just the idea of Shaq-Fu redeemed him, then and there, for all future and potential mistakes.

What does he have to redeem himself for? The man loves his money. That's not a crime.

cool picture the fire one that is the other one is awful

I'm sorry
Hehe, Steel was such a bad film. I think it's even more hilarious that the only time in life he gets a free throw shot is when it's scripted. And a grenade. And in a terrible film.
