So, I recently tried to pre-order Max Payne 3 on Steam when they had the promotion that gave away LA Noire for free but when I tried to buy it an error came up, I searched a bit about it and no one really knew for sure what it was when it happened to them. They said that it was fixable by contacting Steam and letting them know of what was going on.

So I contacted them, they only seem to respond one message each day though, one message was telling me to try one fix (it didnt work), another one was telling me to make a printscreen and send them the image of the checkin (where the error ocurred), etc...

The promotion has ended now, do you think that there is still the possibility of using the promotion even thought the date has passed since I tried to buy it and contacted them while it was still on? Its really frustrating to want to buy something from them and not being able due to an error that could be fixed in time if they had more people in the costumer support.

I have been nice to them and I don't plan on making a fit about it but it doesnt seem fair for me to loose the promotion due to an error on their side, does it?

I am still talking to them since the error isnt fixed yet and the promotion thingy still wasnt brought up.

EDIT: Crap, a typo is on my pool

Yeah, steam support is usually pretty cool about things like that, so if the screw up was on their end they'll most likely try and honor the promotion.

Cool then since I am about to also loose the regular pre-order stuff (Max Payne 1 and 2 skins).

Sadly the Max Payne 1 skin isnt available in multiplayer even with the pre-order.

Sad, just look at him

He looks even goofier then the original
