Poll: Is the Captcha becoming sentient?

I haven't had to deal with captchas since I joined the PubClub last November but I remember several times when the captcha made me grin or laugh out loud because it was so spot on the particular thread's subject.

Disturbingly so, sometimes. Last fall a couple of threads asked this thread's question: "IS the captcha becoming sentient?"

FTR: I recognize the difference between "sentient" and "sapient". Most folks don't so I'm using the vernacular.

Also--YES!!! Nobody enjoys answering the advertisement captchas. I didn't, but that's not the point.

Question: Is the Escapist's captcha becoming sentient/sapient?

I've got my wonders... <_<

You ever notice that if you're looking on Google for plane tickets, all of a sudden, airline ticket ads start showing up on Facebook and Gmail? Well, Captcha (I assume) uses the same super powers that Google uses.

Besides, we'll know when Captcha is sentient once the robot skeletons begin murdering us all...

Erm, your thread is implying that the CAPTCHA isn't sapient already. It is, it is an indisputable fact

Out of curiosity, the kidney is a great spot for stabbing humans who is facing away, right? It's for my science class...

Well, if you're a rogue class, you get sneak attack damage, it doesn't matter where you stab them. If you're another class, then it doesn't matter - you don't get to do extra damage to people not fighting back. Source: I passed my science class with a "Fantastic!"
