I've always been fascinated by cursive handwriting. In fact, you could call it something of an obsession. It's, in my opinion, just such an aesthetically pleasing form of writing, where entire words are single, complex strokes.
However, in modern times, there are fewer and fewer practical applications for cursive; computers and print handwriting have all but phased out the cursive form, since they are easier to read and learn.
Cursive is still used heavily in letters and calligraphy, but will it soon be completely gone from the minds and dominant hands of the next generation?
What I want to know is what you Escapists think of cursive, and whether or not it will stand the test of time.
