Dude, a new mode, new multiplayer maps, and its free! How the hell could this possibly be disappointing?

Isn't all of this free for PC? It's only the console versions that have to pay - and Valve doesn't actually want people to pay for any of these new content. The problem is, for example, Microsoft forcing Valve to charge a price. You can read up on these all over the web. It's part of the reason why TF2 on Xbox 360 got delayed and now has a price. Although, the real reason why TF2 still hasn't updated yet is because there is not enough space (Orange Box already takes up too much room) and they're working on optimization.

So basically, the L4D "expansion" is just a free update for PC users. If you got it on consoles, that was a bad idea. Valve games are always best supported on PC, so stick to PC versions.

In case you didn't hear the news, Valve won that one, L4D DLC is coming to the 360 for free

Yes, you can actually. I've played it on non official servers and it was bananas. None of the survivors made it even 50% threw the maps but it was cool for the infected.

4)Also no SDK for Xbox 360 cause Valve hates you console peasants. ^^ And PC users might get also a server browser for when all those delicious Dawn of the Dead/Resident Evil maps start showing up.

Seeing how I can only think of a HANDFUL of games that have actually let users create and distribute content for consoles, I don't really see how this is a "screw the x-box players" move so much as it is maintaing the status quo. Besides, with the level of retardation we have on XBL, do you REALLY want to let people make their OWN content? L4D versus has already been rightly called a "hilarious griefing engine" - why would you want to take that simple (and surprisingly fun) concept and let ruin it?

I don't see what the deal is. The Versus mode is one of the most well-done Live modes in recent history. No, I am not saying it's innovative, but it's done so well that it's almost impossible not to love. True, the campaigns are a lot of fun, but it's the Versus that made me buy this game instead of just being satisfied with renting it once.

As for Survival mode, I do not know how well it is going to work out, seeing as how I haven't played it yet. Sounds pretty interesting, though, seeing as how they set up the original Versus mode...
