I was watching a Zero Punctuation and and he was talking about Nazis, he saw a picture of a black and white guy. Since Yahtzee talks so fast I'm guessing he got lost in translation.

What on Earth is a "Secret Muslim"? I tried googling it, but, somewhat predictably, all the results are about politicians being called 'secret muslims' by people who don't like them; without any explanation of the term or arguments to support... well, fucking anything really.

Is it somebody who is secretly a practicing Muslim, but pretends not to be? Is it one of those nutbaggy terms that has lost all meaning and thus actually has nothing to do with secrecy or Islam? Or is it one of those nonsensical political 'insults' bandied around by people with no legitimate point to make and were you simply making a funny?

I think that was satire. Not surprising that you wouldn't get that no one on the internet ever seams to ever get satire.

I would as well. I have had arguments with people over this sort of thing (communism and what it really is) before and I am somewhat reluctant to get into it again. The biggest argument I ever had on the internet was with a guy who tried to claim that China was Communist. I will always remember it because I was actually able to get him to understand that he was wrong and why. Imagine, changing somebody?s mind on the internet.

China is, officially, communist. The government party (the only one they have), is named the Communist Party of China. It is one of the only remaining communist states in the world. I understand that it does not function like Mr Marx's envisioned communist state (quite different indeed), but why is it not communist? Because it has aspects of other political systems?

Thats right, because it has more aspects of other political systems than it does of a communist one. Just because they call themselves the 'Communist Party of China' doesn't really mean anything. Saddam Hussain claimed Iraq was a democracy and even had elections; never mind the soldiers in the room with rifles making sure that everybody voted 'correctly'...

It is a common mistake when looking at a political system and saying, 'This country is political system X, therefore political system X has characteristics of this country.' Few countries fit neatly into a specific political system so the way it should be done (and is by political theorists) is what characteristics does this system have, and then match them to a political system to see what it is. China does indeed have some communist characteristics, but it also has capitalist ones (these two are considered by many to be mutually exclusive).
