I heard Vegemite is basically the same as Marmite. So i instantly love it and iSnack is a gay name for such a great product.
Marmite > Vegemite. Marmite has more flavour and more kick. Vegemite has never tried to kill me.

I think the name's pretty good from a marketing point of view. iEverything is in these days and if people will buy it purely because it has an i on the front, why not call it that?

As for whether or not I like it personally, I don't know either way. It's an all right name I suppose, a bit contrived but valid.
At least it's better than Mr Brain's Pork Faggots.

It's technically illegal to bring a jar in on the plane, but I've gotten away with it a fair few times.
I took a look on wikipedia and apparently the whole 'banned in America' thing is an urban legend... Where'd you hear it was illegal?

Who cares about the name, just care about the taste. But then again, naming something tasty with a decidedly un-tasty name may turn out badly. Imagine eating from a jar labelled "Foetus Jam".

There you go.

Vegemite is slightly saltier and therefore unpatriotic. You will report to the Great Comrade, John Key, for a completely legal and justified beat-down. Bring your jar(s) of Vegemite for a bonfire - it is common knowledge the screams of the damned can be heard upon the destruction of a single jar of the unholy yeast spread.

I don't really care, all I can gather is that Vegemite is kinda like Marmite, and Marmite is A Good Thing.

iSnack 2.0 has to be the stupidest fucking name for this ever, the person who sent in the suggestion deserves to be tied to a stake and burnt. Horribly.

Horribly.

So yeah, I don't like the new name.

This, in my opinion, is a sad way to attempt to resonate with teenagers. But, then again, we are what we eat...

I was going to try the new vegemite...

Not anymore: I can't stand the concept of sponsoring something so mind-bendingly horrific as the Kraft marketing division.

Something's in the air...it smells like...smells like a lawsuit from Apple pretty quick. Even if they don't win, the whole iWhatever thing is definitely theirs. Especially with a lowercase i in front of it.

I just wiki'd vegemite because I never heard of that before.
Now that I know, I can say without a doubt: That name sucks.
Hopping onto the i[insert random word here]-train is annoying at best.

I read an article that 4chan was attempting to get it named Vegemoot, at the time i was like WTF but now it actually seems like a much better name.

I used to have an Australian professor that used to rave about Vegemite and how it was banned in the states. Is it still banned? It sounds like tasty stuff.
It tastes like salt and yeast.
