Ok, this isn't an actual RP, more like a general question. I'd like to see what you guys think of this idea for an RP. I should say form the start that I am not planning to start this at the same time as running my other RP, and also that the ideas here are my intellectual property, and not for re-use without my permission
This RP will have the players running in terror, trying to avoid their aggressors, who will hunt them with nigh supernatural intelligence, speed and strength. Survival is optional, and success unlikely.
The aggressors will be the Beautiful People, the Fair Folk, the Elves. These are not your charming, kind, wise elves of Tolkien, but fickle sadistic monsters that fate mysteriously gave beauty, immortality and immense power. If you've read Lords and Ladies by Terry Pratchet, you'll know the elves I'm thinking about. Normally they don't concern themselves with humans, but every so often someone gets it into their heads that Elves are wonderful beings whose presence would be a fantastic thing. They perform some kind of bizarre ancient rite, and the Elves are summoned. Chaos and death promptly ensue
The story will begin with someone close to some or all of the players getting such an idea, and from their the narrative will be variations on terror, attempted escape, and possible death. Maybe the Elves will lose interest after a few days, maybe they'll keep coming till all the players are dead. It all depends...
Anyway, any ideas for additions or changes that might be needed are welcome.
