I pronounce it 'car-a-mel', because that way I use up all the letters. The only time it is acceptable to use the slurred form 'car-mel' is if you have a mouth full of caramel.
What a useless question, Paragon. Clearly, the real question is whether caramel is best used in coffee, in deserts, on ice cream, or smeared over breast that have their own zip code.
Also, I say car-mel, but I know it's car-a-mel. I have a lazy tongue.
