Well, it's been Rainbow Dash themed for about a year and a half. I plan on keeping it so for about another year at least. Than who knows!
Before it was Unforgotten Realms when it was running here. Than I had a Nod symbol for awhile, than ponies.

Honestly, everyplace but the Escapist I have a hamburger as an icon. I just kept the Thing here because I'm lazy.
Yes I've changed my avatar but whats worse I changed my username yes it's hard to change your avatar but it has to happen eventually it's very rare that you find a avatar thats perfect clarion and fappy being the only known exceptions.
While a theme is good I usually pick what I like at the time

Ever since January my avatar has been in flux due to an RP Thread on these forums that (basically) requires I change it to whatever character I'm playing as in it.
Once that is over however (If it ever ends, been going on since January, remember?), I have no idea what my avatar will be. Probably just the first nifty thing I see.

I'll probably always have a Persona-themed avatar. I'd feel like a completely different person if I didn't.
I've only changed my avatar once, from a little pink cartoon fetus to the cartoon bat that I have now. So not many chances to establish any kind of theme, although both of my avatars did come from my own original art, so there are probably some stylistic similarities if nothing else (fetuses and bats are kind of different things). I just don't like changing my avatar a lot; I feel like my avatar is more or less my identity on any forum, so I'd rather just get one that I really like and keep it for as long as possible, while maybe switching to improved or otherwise tweaked versions of that same avatar from time to time.

First I had Icaros holding a watermelon, then I had Nymph's uguu face, and now it's Usui drinking coke.
Which in a thread a while back took a turn for the worse.
I'm thinking about changing it again.

I have only used a couple of different avatars. The very first was an old picture of Batman Beyond I drew, followed by someone else's batman beyond picture. Then there was another one I can't remember, and now I'm using Headdesk Blackadder. I don't know if I'll keep him, but I do love the scene.

I don't have a big enough Eenis for anyone to care what I do with my avatar, for better or worse.
But I like my avatar, so I wouldn't change it. It perfectly encapsulates the sexy kind of surgery sunglasses that I wear all the time.
