Here's a question, what is the name of this type of sandwich?
In America and probably other parts of the world, depending on what region you're in, it could have a different name. Here in New England, for example, it's commonly referred to as a "Grinder", but in other parts of the country it could be called a hoagie, hero sandwich or a sub. I'm sure there are even more names for it too, I just can't think of any more.
So my question to you all is, what's the common name for that type of sandwich where you live?there fixed it for youKing of the Sandbox said:It's a sandwich. To be specific? The long kind.

None of that changes the fact that it's a sandwich, and it's long.... thus, my correctness.
he didn't ask you to describe the sandwich, he asked what it is called in your area long sandwich is a descriptor, not a name, because the type of bread it comes on along with the way it is prepared all have an effect on what it is called.
