I admit that I did like John Cena at first, but once I saw that he did nothing but brawl and fake crap, I despised him. Any reason that you like him or hate him?

Ambivalent. I am not under the age of 12, so he does not appeal to me. That's okay because I was under 12 in the time of Hulk Hogan.
He's pretty much the reason I stopped watching WWE. Every single fight finishes the exact same way with him, and he has all the charisma of a dead dog. There's none of the creativity or the ability to tell a story with a match the way that there used to be.
The only reason I kept watching WWE as long as I did was for Kurt Angle, and so, when he went to TNA, and it came on in our country, I started watching that. Their matches aren't as repetitive, and the characters actually have, you know, personalities. Plus the storylines are a lot less predictable - its more like what the other companies were in their heyday, combined with the high-flying moves of today.

How much enjoyment can you get out of watching any actors playing fake characters telling a fake story? Nobody thinks it's real - it's just a TV show, but it's a TV show with lots of cool stunts, a sense of humour and some really sweet outfits. It's a soap opera for people who like fireworks and blood. Just because you don't see entertainment value doesn't mean it isn't fun. ^ ^ I mean, I don't see the entertainment value in reality TV, but people still watch that.DuplicateValue said:
