.::KANE AND LYNCH: DEAD MEN for XBOX 360::.
I decided that after all the poor reviews for this game (because everyone copies Gamespot because they are too cowardly to put their OWN opinions out there) I'd make my own. Let's see... where to begin.Story = A+ (original) You play as Kane (or if your playing 2-player, Kane and Lynch) who is a death-row inmate on his way to his death when all of a sudden the van gets into an accident. Kane gets out, smashes a few faces, gets a shotgun and leads Kane to an alley way where several members of the notorious group known only as "The 7" are. Kane soon finds out the crash was no accident and he is lead on his path to freedom, for now. His luck is cut short when he realizes that the reason the group broke him out of jail was because he had something of worth that they saw as justly theirs. Normally, Kane would decline such a thing except this time they have his daughter and wife, the only things he has. They give him a small amount of time to get the briefcases, accompanied by Lynch (a medicated phycopath) and bring them back to them. If he declines, they kill him and his family. If he doesn't decline it, they will let his family go, but still kill him. The whole game takes you on an insane storyline with awesome shootout scenes (one on the highway shooting out from the back of a van) with tons of twists that will leave you dying for the sequal and the movie.
Graphics = B+
Sound = A
It's tough to rate sound, because if you can hear it and it works propperly than how can you take points off? So I guess I'll have to rate the voice acting. The script for this game is great, don't get me wrong, but the F word pops up a few hundred times. If you can get that past you then you wont find a problem with the sound.
Control = A-
The controls are pretty down pat, not much to say. Me only beef with it is that on the online play, you can't sprint... I don't know why. It doesn't matter much though, bullets move faster than you.
Gameplay = B+
Single Player - In the single player the gamplay is good. The story brings you from Tokyo to Venezuela to America shooting, killing, robbing, and trying to get revenge.
Multiplayer - In the multiplayer you will play in any of 8 maps where the goal is to steal as much money as you can and escape with the most loot. At any time during the game players can backstab other players and steal their loot and making it so that they don't share their loot if they escape the heist. However, players who kill a traitor will receive an instant $100,000 reward (or 200,000 if you kill the person who killed you). This gives the game an extra edge, you're forced to work together in the begining but at any time the alliance can be broken by greed, making a new game experience with every play.
In the end, I give Kane and Lynch: Dead Men for the Xbox 360...
