Poll: KH: Organization XIII

It's old, not new, been made a thousand times over into a subject, yet I want to know which member was your favorite and which was your least. Honestly I can't help but say that of course Xemnas is #1 because yeah he's the main villain. My personal reason for liking him is because of his fighting style being more or less a rip off of Star Wars and the Sith Lord powers.

I mean the final battle where he goes "Can you Spare a Heart?"

Tell me that isn't force lightning he's using. Then all the spinning around, shooting lasers and teleporting, making clones of himself...pretty awesome. True it's cliche and more of a tribute to what's been done but I thought it was enough to put him on the top of the charts on favorite villain like characters.

As for my least favorite member, gotta say its a throw up tie between Xaldin and Marluxia. Both were just lame and uninteresting as characters. Which is something to say when Lexaeus had the littlest to do plot wise in the entire series.

Finally as for an underdog favorite, gotta hand it to Demyx. Went running around as a 'I'd rather not fight because maybe I'm really weak' character and then totally whipped out some insane power combos outta no where. Probably one of my most epic battles to have to fight...if also annoying.

Most memorable would have to be Axel. The Coolest would have to be a tie between Zex, Luxord, Xigbar, and Xemmy. Least favorite...vexen. Favorite attitude would be Larxene's/

Xion. I'm sorry, maybe she's not a proper member, but her predicament really tugged at my heart strings.

Axel was pretty cool, but I think Luxord was a tad more interesting as a character because he seems more realisticish if that makes sense. Kinda like he had a more untypical rpg character air about him. Plus his fight was more about chance then actual skill.

As for Xion, yeah, I appreciated her character. Kinda cool even if all her moves were a copy of Roxas which was a copy of Sora which is now a copy of upcoming Ven haha!

Those are some odd choices of Organization members in your poll... but maybe I just feel that way because I've never played any of the spin-off games.

Anyways, my favorite member overall is Demyx, because he's odd and uses a sitar as a weapon, which I thought was pretty cool. Out of the ones you have listed though, I believe Xaldin had the coolest power and weapon, as well as the coolest name; his mutton chops always seemed a bit out of place to me though.

Well I was only allowed eight choices, so I had to select which ones I figured were not the most appreciated. I mean if I said Xemnas well, think everyone knows who that is going into this thread. As for Axel, he's again a major character and I also figure that most people know him by now. Then in terms of Namine and Roxas, Namine wasn't a member of Organization XIII rather a tool and Roxas is but again main character so yeah, he'd be remembered quite well.

More of a personal selection to see what people thought of the others that weren't the main highlights.

If I could do the poll over again I'd include Xigbar maybe, but I think this grouping was a good sample to talk about cause they didn't really seem that covered.

I havent played KH2 in a while, and I didn't really like 356/2 Days, but my favourite was probably Luxord.

He has a goatee, he fights with playing cards, and he's voiced by Robin Atkin Downes(the Medic from TF2, Prince Rurik from Guild Wars, Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes, etc)!

Really have been impressed by the level of voice acting talent Kingdom Hearts has managed to pull. Then again its backed by Disney and next to Wal-Mart, Disney controls the world muhaha!!!

Fair enough, Demyx is my underdog favorite too. Eh, but it would have been nice if the polls had more options. Maybe I could have extended the list but then again this is my first time posting a thread on escapist so yeah. Trial and error.

I still remember the first time I fought Xaldin, and just how frustrating parts of that fight were. I mean, yeah, he was pretty cool, but urgh, unavoidable death lasers are frustrating.

For favorite, probably still Xaldin. Maybe Xigbar. They were both pretty awesome. The whole warping sniper thing was incredibly cool, but Xigbar loses points for sounding like a surfer.

Well it is true that Xion was a clone of Sora, but she had her own persona as well as her own part in the Organization as an Organization member.

I've got to go with Luxord. I loved the gambling boss battle and he seemed like an eccentric, but one of the more sane ones. Second goes to Xigbar as the portal jumping, sniping was very unique in my opinion.

If anyone reading this gets a chance I'd suggest going to Youtube and watching Disorganization XIII. There are four main episodes and then a bunch of extras including a Christmas special. It's rather entertaining for those that are into abridged humor. Believe me its actually well thought out with actual amateur writers who can voice act worth beans.
