When I got GTA 3 for the first time I was overwhelmed. Sadly I could only play it for around an hour before driving to Paris. I almost had fits of shacking during the ride I was so eager to continue exploring. The sandbox idea was so novel and I had just scraped the surface of possibilities with the game before I left.

I remember having to go to my grandma's on the day I installed Master of Orion 3...

Of course, I was really fucking excited, but then the next day when I got home and played it, I was terribly disappointed, so I think that one would be an almost.

i remeber once buying Starwars battlefront in london and waiting 2 days to get home to ireland to play it, god made time run slowly!..

and again in london i bought Dawn of war DC, i couldn't wait to play it i had waited so long for its release i kept re-reading the manual over and over and then when i get back to ireland i relised i left the manual in my parents flat, No playing DC for months, ugghh..

and now as we speak my friends have the COD5 map pack in england while myself in ireland, am still having to wait, how i want it so bad

I had waited for Mario Kart Wii for ages to come back in stock after release(Stupidly I left it too late to pre order), and I so I was overjoyed to find one in stock one day. As I'm on my way home, I notice that no lights seemed to be on in our village, despite the fact it was getting dark. "Please don't let it be a power cut" I thought....

I sat at home doing NOTHING for 3-4 hours waiting for the power to come back on, just re reading the manual.... ¬.¬

This makes me so unimaginably.......This is the first time I have felt empathy in a loooong long time. Before I knew that mario kart wii was not as good as it made out to be I waited for it to come out for about a month. Then it came out and I could not get my hands on a copy for 2 whole months. It almost killed me. And then the final blow to the face. I finally got my hands on a copy the day before heading out to a 4 week holiday to Israel.
