Poll: Kinks Vs. Van Halen

Both bands have a version of "You Really Got me".

Which version do you guys think is better?

The Kinks version is the original, and is a little more quirky sounding. (To me at least)
The Van Halen version, however is a more normal sounding song, great, but normal.
It's my favorite, as it was the first version I heard (GHII).

Ok, I've gotten a couple complaints about this being an X vs.Y poll, and I apologize. This is my first forum thread, and I'm new to this. Chill.

You say they are frowned upon yet you partake in it, seriously why bother?

I was just telling in him the future, responses may not be so kind. I mean, it does say in the rules that VS threads aren't allowed. Just giving him fair warning.

However, I don't like to be one of those guys that just scans through a thread to point out when someone breaks the rules, so I thought I'd at least answer his question.
