I have to crack my knuckles, neck, wrist, back, knees, ankles, and toes every 10 or so minutes or I freak out. I also love it. The sound is like music to my ears.
I do it quite a bit, but my style varies according to the situation.
Mood neutral: fist to palm
Mood pissed: open hand at side (Stress and release tendons, loosens up the wrist before a fight...or at least, that's what I tell myself.)
Mood bored: lace fingers and stretch
