I made a thread alittle while ago about l4d2, and i was reading the posts on it.Reading them, i found alot of the people seemed to play PC(i knew that because they were talking about level mods) than 360.That brought a question to me,how much more?So what system do you play L4D 1 and/or 2 on and why?

P.S.
Can people who hates l4d NOT comment on this thread.its for people who likes l4d,not people who likes to critisice it.

I play L4D1 on 360 as my laptop isn't a gaming one.
And I don't get on with a mouse and keyboard.

I definately prefer PC over the 360 but all my mates play their L4D on 360 so its the hands down choice for me. I usually end up buying the pc version anyway, at least thats what i ended up doing with L4D1

I don't have it but I'd recommend getting it for pc (even though I'm a console gamer), especially if you don't have steam or valve games already. The mods and free dlc make it worth it (plus steam is cheaper I think).

If you have a system capable of running it (and it doesn't take a high-end machine) you should get it for PC. If not for the mods, than for the fact that the addons made by Valve are free on PC and paid on 360 (take Crash Course for example)

I've alvays been curious to know if there is a difference in amount of infected/specials from the 360 to pc, or if there is auto-aim on the 360?

Mainly because I find the games challenging (and fun to boot!) enough on the pc, and i could not imagine surviving for very long if i had to use a controler instead of a mouse and keyboard.

but then again I've never used a controler...

I play it on the PC because Valve tends to neglect the console market. Even if I can barely run it.

And I don't have a gaming console, either. :D

I play on 360 but only because my gf's laptop can't run it, and this way we can play together. I do admit though that the PC is superior. If only there were a way that two people could play on the same PC at once I wouldn't bother to buy a console.

I personally feel that FPSs should only be played on the PC, as a mouse is more naturally suited to aiming than a joystick.

PC.
I've been into why about a million times before and this won't end well.

Splitscreen can be activated on the PC versions.

I got them both for Xbox 360. The first one because I just got it for christmas after seeing friends playing it on live. I later learned it was also a PC game. The second I got on the 360 because of the fact I got the first one on Xbox, more friends I know are getting or have gotten it on Xbox, and, most importantly, my computer is crap, and certainly can't run either one.

I have 1 and 2 on PC, I tried playing them both on Xbox at a friends house, but it's harder to aim, and overall more difficult and awkward to play.

Valve makes games for the PC, so Left 4 Dead should naturally be better for the PC.
Most FPS's are better on the PC in my opinion....

M+KB. I can't imagine trying to, say, navigate Hunter City on a gamepad, or bounce between trees. (But, hey, you probably can't even play Hunter City on a 360(?).) More generally, be able to aim both precisely, and to turn say 150 degrees (based on positional audio) with a flick of the mouse and blast that zombie screaming up behind you.

You can also play around with the console if you're so inclined, and do things like make non-fast zombies that are harder to kill, increase their counts, decrease their spawn times, maybe remove specials/bosses or disable special abilities. Or bind "Pills here!" to your melee attack, if you want to get kicked from every game.

I choose 360...

More people I know play on live than on PC online, so it's nice to have friends to play l4d with. As for controls... I've gotten used to the controller. I used to be such a keyboard/mouse nazi, but I'm rather comfortable with using analog sticks now. I'm missing mods? I already have Half-Life 2 on PC, I can get all the sourcemods I want.

PC. I tried to play it on the 360 and it was awful. Like, when a zombie is behind you, the only way to be able to turn to it fast enough is to have the sensitivity on super high while when you have it on super high and something is only a couple of inches out of your fire, you completely spin around with the touch of the trigger. The controls are so much more accurate and the people aren't anywhere near as stupid.

Seriously, that's not even a question. I'm not a PC gamer or a console gamer, I play both loads but like...
"Shall I play a game made by a PC game company on the PC or less than perfect port made by EA?"
Come on. I don't think I know anyone that's played a Valve game on PC and console and enjoyed it more on the console.
