Poll: L4D choices

Something I noticed a lot whilst playing is how people are vehemently defensive about who they play, and as the characters are, as a whole, exactly the same, I'd like to try and find out why?

Oh, and as a secondary question, who else would you put in there?

I really don't care, although I randomly get selected as Zoe quite often.

I end up as Zoey more often than not and I tend to get brutalised by hunters and smokers slightly less when playing as her, so I've now started choosing her.

Whenever I'm Bill, Francis or Louis I tend to die much quicker, I'm sure coincidentally.

He's just old, so he's funny.

Plus, it sort of justifies all of the getting killed that I do.

I like Francis and Bill the most. I voted Francis.

I usually get Zoey when I choose random.

Oh and to make the team politically correct I'd put a Chinese guy on a wheel chair in the squad. Maybe he could be gay as well.

The horde rush comes, and after a few minutes of pitched gun fighting, you lay them all to rest. Then, one of your emotes would be to silently reach up, and honk your nose.

Louis is actually a reference to Shaun from Shaun of the Dead. White shirt and red tie (fair enough he's black but I believe that is an equality issue).

I can happily play as any of em but i'd rather play as Bill if given the choice.

I normally don't care, but if I have a choice I pick Bill. He seems to have some of the best lines.

I always try to be Louis, don't mind playing as Bill or Zoey, but hate being Francis.

I like it when 30 something dudes play as her. Its funny as hell to hear a really deep voice coming out of a 18 year old girl.
