Croatian (my native language)
English (I'm actually more fluent in English than Croatian O.O )
Italian (I can understand it almost perfectly - but sometimes get confused when replying to a question)
Latin (I know it is supposedly dead, but it is still used in most roman-chatolic churches and it is a basis for most European languages - including English and Italian)
Greek (Can hold a conversation in either ancient version or todays' one - technically those are two languages, but I listed them as one )

And sometimes I dabble in Klingoneese.

well I think I am behind you all. The only language I speak fluently is English however I have been self studying Japanese for about 5 months and I am determined to master it even though some times it seems I am forgetting more than I learn.

Hopefully I will get there as I love studying it even though I have always been pretty crap at languages, well we will see.

If I get to bilingual status tho that will be it I have no desire to learn other languages my other goals are guitar and martial arts.

I suppose life's to short, kudos to you who are bilingual or more though you have my respect.

I can understand a little French and German but if anyone asked if if I spoke them I would say no as my knowledge of them is purely rudimentary.

Just about to finish Latin 102.

...Yeah. Though, I'm seriously thinking about minoring in Latin and then learning one of the romance languages (except Spanish or French, screw both of those) in the event that I look into moving to Europe.

I'm from the UK, we don't speak other languages and prefer to make everyone else learn english.

I would have loved to learn a new language but they start them too late in the UK so most people are shit at them.

I'm from the UK. More accurately from Wales.
I can speak both Welsh and English fluently.
Being taught Welsh whilst being in Welsh environment since 3 years old really helped.
At 13 years old I started learning German for 3 years.
At 15 years I was taught French for a year.
Safe to say I can't speak much of the latter two.

I only speak English, ironically enough I think you probably speak more Welsh than I do, I just struggle with it, most sentences are backwards, there are mutations, and, my welsh teachers can't speak fluent welsh themselves.

I don't understand the trouble you have with it It's not backwards. It's English which is backwards. I think pretty much every other European language has the noun stated first and then followed by an adjective.
The mutations aren't that difficult. The Welsh language developed in the Iron Age. Writing probably wasn't common so it was very much a spoken language. Probably resulting in the strong culture of poetry and singing. Therefore 'rules' evolved so certain words that followed other words had their first letter(s) changed so the words could be said easier and were more pleasant to listen to. I always remembered the mutations by what I'd guess the word would sound like. It's easy once you understand the logic.
Having a shit welsh teacher probably didn't help. A bad teacher never helps anyone learn. In fact it puts the pupil off.
