PC. And I prefer it to using a laptop. Laptops have their merits, but when I need to access the internet while outside my house, then I can use my phone. No need for a laptop.

Right so... Why do some people insist calling only a desktop running under Windows a PC? My laptop computer is a PC, my desktop computer is a PC, hell even my iPhone is a PC...
Princeton Wordnetweb defines a PC as: "personal computer: a small digital computer based on a microprocessor and designed to be used by one person at a time"

OT: I use a desktop when I'm at home, more for it's input and output apparatus (using two large monitors, a 5.1 surround sound set and a fairly bulky mouse and keyboard) than anything else. My laptop is only used when I'm either on the move (trips abroad or at college/work) or when it's insanely nice weather out and I have some work left to do.

a pc is a personal computer, its not different from a laptop, what you really mean is desktop or laptop, I like my desk top since lappies are nice but you cant really upgrade them
