has anyone had a argument and later, after it was over you think of a perfect way to get back at that person in the conversation? it is annoying when that happens. what did you think was a good thing to say in an argument that possibly would have made the other person seem like a complete idiot that you thought of after it was to late.

First of all, I must commend your beautiful slaughter of the English Language!

Secondly, Yes, this happens; It is unfortunate. It is also the basis for a full episode of Seinfeld; "The jerk store called, and they're all out of YOU!"

Most of the time I have a good come-back/counter-argument ready, sometimes it comes to me later on, which is infuriating. Apparently people in my year are reluctant to argue with me because I'm, and I quote, "too smart."

Pussies.

Yes, all the time. I'm not too good at thinking on my feet. Gets rather annoying to be quite honest.

the French have a term for it. They call it 'Esprit de l'escalier' which means a wish on the stairs.

It's "a witty remark that occurs to you too late, literally on the way down the stairs."

I love the french <3
