As a whole? The old ones. They were just great and witty characters and they were even better when thrown together.

All though Nick is proably my favorite Survivor.

I'd love to go with Coach, but I've spent more time as Bill than any other character in a shooter (except Shepherd I guess). I'd love there to be some crossover stuff along the line, like if Bill, Coach, Louis and Ellis could all roam around together. I think those characters would get on like a house on fire.

Or at least, It'd tickle my fanboy bones if I could see it.

I feel the L4D ones are more likeable, but they put more effort into the second ones characters so they have more conversations, are more developed etc. Ellis makes me piss myself though.

Awesome - Francis (HILARIOUS), Ellis (HILARIOUS...ER), Bill (Complete badass), Louis (Just plain awesome), Zoey (Hot AND efficient at mowing down zombies)
Good - Coach (Personality of Bill in the first game: old, worn out, but badass)
Lame - Nick (From what I've played, he pretty much lacks a personality other than his sweet coat), Rochelle (Ugh)

Nah, everybody loves Louis and a lot of people like Coach. It's just Rochelle.

Zoey was funny, and had an interesting back story (she survived because she watched a lot of horror/zombie movies). Also unlike Rochelle Zoey was attractive.
