They may not make it, if valve DOES make Left 4 Dead 3, what uncommen commen or speical infected would there be.

My idea
The Leecher: A special infected whoes front half has been dug out and covered in tiny teeth. It has two special attack. The main attack is to jump onto the front or back of a surviver. If it connects to the back, the surviver can still move around with nothing holding them back, but the Leecher takes out a large amount of blood over time, when on the front of a survivor, the leacher blinds them and takes health away, but the survivor can still move. It needs to be killed in order to get off, or the survivor must die. The second attack is the Leechers ability to fire smalll barnicle like balls at a surviver. The surviver can still walk easily, and the leech dosen't take to much life from the victum, but they are hard to see, so if they go unoticed the surviver may loose alot of health. Plus the leach is small, so if you don't hit the leech when shooting you will hit the surviver.

DO YOU LOVE IT?

What are your ideas

I don't see anything wrong with the current set, but, hey I'll give it a shot:

I think an idea for a new Infected would be one which can hang from buildings and fall onto the survivors, unleashing a cloud of gas which they need to move out of to avoid getting damaged. Then they have to also get out, or it will damage them, also.

Not bad. I could see it working.

I like the idea of bringing in the Penanggalan. It's a vampire, but I think it could work. Weirdest damn vampire I ever heard of.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penanggalan

It's basically a head that floats around with its entrails attached. I don't know how, but this needs to be in a game somewhere. L4D3 could do it, the zombie version!

I have an idea for an infected called The Cage it's like a support infected, it's attack power is just a bit stronger than the common infected but it can bind the players with hands that arise from the ground holding the player there until someone melees you or shoots the hands off or kills the cage. The arms dont do any damage but makes you an easy target for common and special infected.

The Gunslinger a special infected that uses akimbo pistols.

Maybe some kind of different super infected instead of the tank ... the tank killing strategies have advanced to the point where a tank isn't anything to fear.. maybe instead of a tank it should be a large group of some kind of advanced uncommons that take more than a few bullets to take down or some kind of long ranged attacker

The Spike.. can throw/fire spikes at survivors from long range which slow their movement speed when stepped on... or some kinda of AOE movement slowing ability similar...

The Bouncer.. fast moving but relatively weak jumps from person to person quickly and knocks them back for a second or two...

The Lasher... a smoker variant that instead of pulling survivors lashes them from long range with some appendage that knocks the survivor in the direction of the swing.. Not huge knockback but enough to separate a closely huddled group.. or knock unsuspecting survivors off a edge

The Shield.. a Tank like infected whose purpose is to block survivors and to protect other special infected.. (a smoker pulls a survivor the survivors shoot at the smoker but cant do any damage because the shield is taking the damage... or blocking someone who is pounced) The shields hp should be high but damage capability quite low instead acting as a support type instead of an offensive type.

I like it! It's like a sniper style special infected that's much more better than a Jockey. The next most likely places for the survivors to be is Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Montana so Special Infected should be thought up based on these locations.

Of all the ideas I've had I only remember a few and came up with a new one. My old idea is a Genius. This special infected has a massive brain that uses telepathy to call a horde of special infected. Genius has to be in range similar to that of a Spitter and a Smoker. Once the target circle turns red then you can call a horde of common infected on that one Survivor. Genius also has similar health to that of a Boomer.

My new special infected idea is Doctor. It's a special infected that has mutated hands to that of a bone knife coated with an anesthetic which obviously causes more damage if they use the claw melee than other special infected. Doctors special attack is to spit out the same anesthetic that coats it's bone knife hands. Even when the survivors are at full health it slows them down as if they're in the yellow and if they're in the red they get even slower. It lasts as long as Boomer Bile and helps when a Tank shows up and it can't hit the fast moving survivors.

I dunno, can't think of any more problems that the infected could solve.

Maybe a Glitch Checker. It could camp near glitches and bite the head off a survivor that tried to use them. Or, infected survivors. That would be cool.

I swear to god they stole my spitter idea. Though my spitter clung to the walls and aprayed acid in a survivor's face when they looked at them.

What about a infected called "Episode 3".

Every time you think "wow, rather this than half-life", he comes in the form of Gordon Freeman and kills you. AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!
Hell, we could even have one called "A map pack for Team Fortress 2 on the consoles", which comes in the form of a giant "Connection to the host was lost" sign.

I had thought up the Launcher:

With his main attack, he picks up and throws other infected... anyone hit would suffer impact damage as well as have that infected on them. This could also be combined with throwing a Jockey or a Charger or a Hunter, or even a Boomer at someone.

His secondary attack would be to throw the survivors if he can do it without dying. Similar health to a Charger.

That's actually a pretty cool. I imagine throwing a boomer down the street with the infecteds right hand, and it bursting on impact. Epic.

Bunch of somewhat special infecteds: Athletes. At certain level(s) where you go to a stadium, there´s bunch of athlete zombies with slight differences for example football players can team rush you, basketball players can "slam&dunk" over fences and other obstacles, baseball players bat or throw balls at you etc.

But really, multiplayer needs to get a little more fine tuning and then I would play it more.

also they need 1 more human

Yeah, it would certainly work well with other infected types... imagine throwing a jockey onto someone's head... it would make them last longer... it would work quite well as a support class... but worst-case scenario you just throw a bunch of common infected at people :)

I believe that infected survivors will be in "The Passing" DLC as uncommon common infected. Fallen survivors or something. They've got good items on you, but they run away instead of attacking.

I can't think of any new infected...
