The Forest Temple taps into something within my soul.
I can't explain it but when I hear that music in it, it sends shivers up my spine, almost nostalgic ones even when I was first playing it. I love everything about that dungeon. The eerie misty atmosphere, the disturbing boss fight, the absolute dark greenness, all of it.
Well I have to agree with this FinalGamer here. There is something about the forest temple that just clicks with me. The other temples, once you disregard the temples you do as a child, I think tend to like equally. The best music would be from either forest of spirit temple.
Completely agree with you there, Spirit Temple was this wonderful Middle Eastern vibe, also eerie in its own way.

Also, OH GOD THE WELL! Does anyone else still freak out at the Well?
yep

I loved the Spirit, Fire, and Forest Temples and I don't think I could really pick which one I like the best because all of them were so great.

I never played Ocarina of Time.

Well I did but then I stopped playing it. So I guess I would have to say the Deku Tree.

Why do people love this game it took them 7 years to develop and its just o.k. the franchise was great up snes then it lost something. Wind waker was by far the worst sail 20-30min so you can play an hour or two of game.
Man, that's so off-topic, I feel disgusted just being in this thread.

Forest temple was my favorite, though there isn't a single one I didn't like. And of course the Water Temple was most aggravating, but I liked it anyway.

i LOVE the water temple, because it's such a mind-fuck to some people, and i can never remember how to do it, now matter how many times i have before. it's possibly the best in-game puzzle ever contrived by the mind of man. God himself would find it challanging

Spirit Temple, definitely. :] Twinrova was a blast to battle, if a little easy. And it's pretty epic just getting to the temple, getting through all of the Gerudo.

How come I haven't seen a single post complimenting the shadow temple? Giant guillotines falling from the sky, using the lens of truth to find out where to go, and of course the hover boots! Not to mention Bongo-Bongo was a freaky boss fight. Shadow Temple, the well, and the grave where you get the sun's song freaked the HELL outta me! I felt so brave when I finished the scary parts lol :p. Course I was like seven at the time.

Fire dungeon was my favorite for "awesomeness" as far as genius in level design goes, has to be the water dungeon

Edit: LOVE the music in the fire dungeon
Ever heard the ORIGINAL music the fire dungeon was gonna have?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDcQVzu_kc8 - was a bit too Islamic so Nintendo had to change it, thought you might like to hear it.
But they did get away with using the symbols of Islam (crescent moon and star) in the Spirit Temple and on the Mirror Shield.
Hehehehe.
Hmm nice both are good, thanks for that ^.^ I think the one they went with was a bit more eerie.

The Deku Tree.
Because it reminds me of when I first started playing Zelda, when I was first discovering its magical realm.

the spirit temple because it requires many objects and of note did anyone do the geruddo gate trick with the chickens to go there as a kid before turning into an adult
And although its not on the list i really enjoyed the proving grounds to get the Ice arrows.

I choose the Temple of Light!...not really lol

Volvagia was just an epic boss battle for me and I remember creating an extra file just so I can do that fight over and over.

The Spirit Temple was the most unique out of all of them, so I liked that one.

I was so addicted to this game that I'd wake up early so I can play it before school...I was late one day cause I didn't want to leave half way through the Shadow Temple...

The Forest Temple was the most atmospheric of them all.

But above all else, I'd choose the Water Temple. Mostly because it's the Temple that made me walk away from the game out of anger...

I loved the Dark Link battle and I always thought the Hookshot was the coolest weapon from all of the Zelda games...but this temple pissed me off so much.

I never looked behind the chest that had the hookshot in it so I never saw the block I had to remove to continue in the temple. I search every inch of it going crazy to figure out what I had to do next. I studied every section of that map and went into every room countless times. I spent a full week in that temple. Got in on Monday, got stuck, and figured it out on Sunday.

So the Water Temple is forever burned into my memory. Even after I forget everything about OoT...I'll remember the Water Temple.

Zelda OoT and Zelda MM are the only two games I've ever played that still succeed in sending shivers up my spine. Not so much for the vivid 'feel' of the dungeons (awesome for its time!) or the really awesome boss fights (back when they were a worthy challenge!).

....the Skulltulas.
Oh.
My.
God.

Never have I had a game really awaken any sort of inner fear like that. Arachniphobia is a terrible, terrible thing to possess especially when in OoT those golden suckers were EVERYWHERE. The NOISE. GOD. The NOISE. ><

*ahem*

Spirit Temple. Awesome mirror puzzle, funny boss fight. Win.

Spirit Temple for me. Water Temple a close second. Absolutely despised Jabu-Jabu and the Shadow Temple.

As for the poll, where's Ganon's Tower?? I wouldn't have voted for it, but still.
