I'll try any tea once but I usually stick with what I like. Right now I'm into vanilla roobois with honey and milk. Out of honey unfortunately :(

Give me a cup of straight up green tea any day. No milk, no sugar, no whatever, just 2 minutes of steeping and I'm good to go. I don't like fruity teas or particularly pungent ones. So I guess I'm a one-trick pony, green tea all the way.

I like proper tea, you know tea . Bah to your green, your peppermint, your camomile and whatever other vile, hippie concoctions you may have. Iced tea is equally disgusting, tea should be hot with milk, and sometimes sugar. I have a wonderful cup of tea right now, wish I had some crumpets though.

I enjoyed that, I think. I almost forgot though, Americans tend to make it wrong. Leaving the bag in is heresy in my eyes, it should come from a pot but if that's really not feasible then you at least take it out when it's time to drink.

I am a simple man with simple tastes in tea. Earl Grey, Milk, Two Sugars, Twice daily. I don't care for any of those fancy green teas, at all. And Iced tea for some reason makes me gag. Also, the British (and Irish) do not have a monopoly on the substance.
Upstart colonial Australia REPRESENT!

Meh, I am kind of being force fed it at the moment but to me tea isn't that great ... same goes for coffee to be honest.

It's like cauliflower to me, no real taste to it so I can drink it but it's not like I am ever itching to have a good bit of cauliflower.

Much prefer juice, orange, apple, mango, pineapple and coconut. Not to mention all the crazy combos like orange and mango, apple and cranberry, pineapple and coconut etc.

I, for one, have really grown to love Earl Grey with some honey added. Iced tea is also good. I don't really like green tea, and I usually don't like tea with lots of other stuff in it.

Edit: Coffee is also freakin' awesome, but only straight black. No sissy milk or sugar in my coffee :p

I'm Irish, and over here we love TEA! And that includes me!
I'm also a fan of crumpets, don't-ya-know.
The kind of tea I want to try most is nettle tea. Sounds interesting. I've eaten nettles before.

I drink both tea and coffee. At times, while browsing the intertubes, I feel like I should be stabbing myself and patting myself on the back. It seems it is unnatural to enjoy both.

Yeeeah... I'm British, I'm pretty much made of tea. There's something seriously wrong if I have less than ten cups a day.

My liquid intake is ~80% tea, ~15% milk (or drinkable milk products) I don't use for cooking, hot cocoa when I'm sick of milk, ~5% misc coffee a few times a year and if people bring me something and leave here.

I drink the cheap stuff because I'm cheap. Like most people I like to drink things I find tasty until I find something better, so I'm on a flavour based circle, currently drinking Earl Gray and sweet or minty flavoured black teas. Herbal teas before bedtime, when my BP is acting up, or when sick. Trying to get into red tea but need to find something to flavour it with, a lemon did not work well, perhaps I'll try with milk.

No tea with milk, no sugar, I have a honeypot at an arms length at all times.

English Breakfast, Two bags, Two Sugars, down the old hatch. Screw those poncey Tea's Americans drink like camomile, or something. No, they are not worthy of the sacred Yellow stained teeth that us British have.

...I also like Limpton's Ice Tea, but I haven't had it in years.
... I'm going to assume that by poncey you mean "Arrogant assholes only drinking it because it tastes good, some celebrity likes it, and it has none of the caffeine they mistakenly believe is going to poison and kill us all until we die in horrible, horrible, heroin-like withdrawl."

I like tea of all types, but I don't drink herbal teas for their flavors, which are sometimes pretty vile. Ginger tea springs to mind. For example, if I have a sore throat, hell yeah I'm throwing peppermint tea down the hatch. I tend to listen to my great granny for that though, not some idiot who lets people shoot them for a living. Still haven't tried blackberry wine for an upset stomach though...

Earl Grey with nothing, Earl Grey with lemon, and any kind of green tea (I'm in Japan. Sue me.) That's what I drink on a regular basis.

Great lover of black, cinnamon, peppermint, chai, camomile, proper ginger tea (not black w/ginger damn you!), several varieties of green tea & I'm still looking for new vistas to explore. I had to select "all" but I can't stand that musky earl grey stuff or oolong so that isn't strictly true.

I consume all tea... 2 sugars, no milk and I leave the damn bag in until I finish the cup!
Iced tea is amazing.... especially home made.

did you know that adding milk to tea cuts all the health benefits in half? no matter the type of tea, its instantly cut in half when lactose is added.... no idea why but Ive read that in alot of places.

OT: I have a roommate who literally adds hot water and then takes the tea bag and throws it out... there's no flavour to her tea and its a waste since that bag can be re-used... it vexes me greatly

Japanese Tea is where it's at. When you get the good stuff, it's amazing and so relaxing. I can't stand most tea with milk in it.

That is ghastly... at home if I am making 3 teas, I use 2 bags! I make 2, and then put both those bags in the 3rd! Works a charm... my mum uses 1 bag for 2, but I find if mine is the second cup it is far to weak!

OT: Anyone else use loose tea at all? I sometimes do, if we have it... but for the life of me cannot actually tell a difference!

And for those who leave the bag in... if it is still drinkable by the end, then it is not a good tea...! If I tried leaving an Early Grey in as I drink it, it will just end up stewed and incredibly bitter!

Many studies have concluded that the negative effects from adding milk to tea are negligible at best.

But there are benefits from adding milk, such as calcium.
