ok just think about this Link with every thing from one of his games( you can pick which) vs Batman with all his gadgets (but no vehicles) and they fight in and arena with some things to grapple onto on the walls and such.

I think you know my guess.

Besides, if Link can take down Ganondorf, Batman should be a cakewalk.

How would Batman possibly lose this fight? Regardless of what Link throws at him, Batman would have the solution.

Batman because the rules have clearly stated that in a three round fight Batman loses round one. By the end of that round Batman will have learned all of Link's strategies and will use that knowledge against him.

It would be a tie, then the two would go and fight Joker/Raj al Ghul/Insert Batman villian and Gannondorf/Vaati/Insert Zelda villian, who convieniently teamed up earlier. That's how team-ups always work.

I think instead of fighting they would Seal away Gannon(Again), beat the crap out of the Joker, and then go the the Lon Lon Ranch for some fresh milk as soon as they entered the Arena.

Well let's see. If Batman is allowed one of his teammates, then he'll almost get defeated but get saved at the nick of time and kick Link's ass, then haul his ass off to Arkham. If Batman isn't allowed one of his teammates, then he'll just straight up kick Link's ass...and then get haul his ass off to Arkham. Don't worry though, he'll probably escape within a couple days.

Lets see, a billionaire playboy who is one of the most powerful people in the world who spends his time dressed in a black suit going around a city and beating dangerous criminals with his bare hands, or an elf in a skirt.

....... Huh. I'm not sure.

pfft, are we seriously having this discussion? Everyone knows Chuck Norris wins automatically /troll

In all seriousness though versus threads are rather frowned upon on this site.

Vs. Threads: Who would win in a fight: A or B? Which is better: X or Y? These are dull, repetitive, and are surefire ways to start a flame war. All three things that The Escapist does not wish to be recognized as.

Batman and link besides using gadgets have nothing in common. Link is a glorified errand boy who has less personality than wardrobe designs. All of his items can be used for battle but mostly it's just bumping around in dungeons. Batman however is detective in a bat costume. Cunning and with his utility belt can pretty much take on whoever he has too.

Link has the advantage however what with all his gadgets being supernatural and magical. Batman's only advantage over him is being able to outsmart him but smarts only take you so far. In a fair fight with the average items both characters have Link would win only because he just over powers him with his tools while batman doesn't have anything that can really stun link or take him down and hand to hand combat is out of the question.

Only because I've never seen link go hand to hand. But wild guess is that batman would win what with actually being trained and not Destined to do stuff that requires physical labor.

Batman plain and simple.

And Tarakos, that brings up an interesting thought...
How would Link fair in a meeting with the Joker?
well link specializes in going through convulted traps and that's all the joker does and once he gets through those traps he will kill joker because he has no paticular qualms about killing people.

Batman always has a plan B

He already planned for the even of an alter-universe Fairy-Boy attacking him or vice-versa, it's in his computer, he already knew it could happen. Why do you think he always carries Kryptonite on his belt or keeps the weaknesses of all his Justice League friends on the computer? JUST IN CASE something happens.
The man even had a plan in case a God attempted to kill him, he ended up reversing the effect and merely going back in time... he had a plan for that too.
