So tonight on my way in, I found yet another surprise in the hallway of my apartment building.
Someone has left trash in the hall that looks like it had fallen out of someone's garbage bag. AGAIN. This time it's a bunch of rotten bananas. In the past I've found: Pizza boxes, half a rotten melon, drink bottles, candy wrappers, and newspapers.
Is it right that this bugs the living shit out of me?
I've never caught anyone... if I did, I'd say something to them. It's like it falls out of their trash, and they're too damned lazy to pick it up.
I live in a college-student heavy neighborhood. I mention this because some of these kids leave shit EVERYWHERE. What chance does our world have if educated young adults can't pick up after themselves?
What do you guys think I should do about it? Usually I just pick it up, but is that helping? I've thought about leaving nasty notes- something along the lines of "PICK UP YOUR MESS, ASSHOLE".
If I knew who did it I would put it right in front of their door.
I guess I can't figure out why anyone could be so lazy. Thoughts?
