Poll: Long, Short or Medium?

Medium short, for me. If I can get close enough to knife someone in the back/face then I'll do it, but otherwise it's shotguns, flamethrowers and the occasional assault rifle for me.
COD4 is the game I must play every single day.
It's a great stress reliever... and inducer, I might add,
but it's just great to see people get annihilated by bullets.
If a match is just rigged and pisses me off,
I usually take out people with a silenced P90.
Otherwise, I use an AK-74u, SAW, and just started to use the MP44.
But sometimes, if the match is on Bloc, Overgrown, or Countdown, I'll snipe and use my M21.

i like long range when possible. it's not always practical. so i like a sniper, with a heavy machine gun/shotgun in backup. sniper's are fine for long range (obviously) but can still be handy for medium if you're quick, so the heavy/shotgun is just for close up.
I'm a short range kinda guy cause I just love pulling the corner and blowing away...a teamate oops but I did get the guy chaseing him. I also like to use plasma swords and sutch just cause it's fun to fly into your enemy and own them. Grav hammer is better.
I tend to stick with long ranger or medium. I usually stick with the medium range even when I really shoult switch to short.
Medium to Long range, personally, although getting up close in melee is quite satisfying as well.
Long range whenever possible. Also, on Halo, I'm getting better at noscoping so the sniper rifle can protect me at close-med range as well.
If I don't have a long range weapon, I prefer a single or burst shot medium range weapon.

I prefer sniping. In CoD4 I was pretty good at rushing with a p90 and racking up kills, but a well placed head shot feels better then 5 rush kills.
