I just herd from my Dads GF(who is a manager at one of those places) that Hooters is going to be having Madden turnaments at there resturants on Thursdays. My first thought was that could be a pretty good idea until I heard that they are only doing this on the Wii. Once I heard that last bit I knew that it wouldn't work before learning that they have yet to get anyone to sign up because it being on the Wii. I don't understand why they are doing this on the Wii and why is it that they are not using a PS3 or X-Box 360 because the main auddiance for the Madden games is mainly using those two consoles. If they think they can save money by using the Wii I feel they are wrong since the arcade 360 is only $250 as well and the base system would more suit there needs for just a gaming machine. So do you think it was a mistake for them to use the Wii and would you particapate this kind of an event.
And for the record I am not a fan of the Madden's and mainly only play when my dad makes me. But I do enjoy playing it with friends and family.
