Poll: Mafia 2.

[A Weary Exile]

I've never played the first Mafia but this game looks incredibly good and I'm very excited for it.

I love the time period it's set in and I'm really into story-driven games, the cover-based shooting looks cool and the GTA style screwing around is sure to be fun. Plus 'Goodfellas' is one of my favorite movies, the Mafia is always interestng. What I want to know is: who here has played the first Mafia? Did you like it? Why, why not? Are you excited for this next installment?

Yes, though I still need to get hold of the original Mafia (it's on 3 for £10 at game, but I'm stuck for what to get as a third game).

Played through the first one a couple of times and loved it so for sure gonna get the second.

No. I didn't like the first one so no I'm not going to buy the second one.

Well I liked it mostly because of the story and the types of mission that you did throughout the game, those really sucked me in and made me want to continue playing. Also the more realistic rules of the game also intrigued me like if you ran a red light, cops would go after you or showing your gun they would start to fire, stuff like that made this game a winner for me.

Now that's what I wanted to hear!

Sounds cool I like it when games go all the way with realism and don't just half-ass it. I heard also that cars run out of gas after a while.

Hopefully, I enjoyed the first one and have replayed it several times, I'm hoping Mafia 2 is another good game about Mafia.
