Poll: Manhunt 2

I am doing a project for college on manhunt 2. I need to add in game players reactions so is the game good? and was it received well?-not that i've ever played it!!
and for all you guys who like to play violent games- what is it you like/dislike about them?

I agree, if people want to play violent games its up to them, it doesn't necessarily mean they are going to turn in murderous serial killers, at the end of the day i found for most people video games are a form of escapism, and they play these not because they 'enjoy' the killing side of it but it's somewhere they can go to get away from reality!

i dint even know there was a man hunt 2.

i played manhunt 1. with manhunt 1 the things i disliked about it were the guns, they made too much noise and attacted enemies. and killing someone with a brick or a plastic bag gets boring after the first few times.

I looked forward to it, because I'd imagined a more violent kind of Splinter Cell/MGS type game. Also, the background info on the promotional site made it sound like a really cool story. Bought it, played it for an afternoon and traded it in. It's terribly boring, way too easy, the executions are lame and don't show much. I don't know how it was received since I didn't bother with reviews.

As for violent games in general, it depends on the game. RPGs have violence, but I like them for the story and characters. I enjoy action games like Bayonetta a lot, but those are all about skill to me rather than the actual violence. Martial ballet, you know? If anything, I hate it when they're made explicitly violent like God of War.
