Do you drive a manual/standard transmission or an automatic? If both, which do you prefer?

I drive standard, just because it makes you feel as if you have more control over the car.

Manuel. It's what I grew up driving and now whenever I drive an automatic my left foot keeps trying to hit the break.

Automatic.

Never had much of a chance to go manual. Family never used 'em, I inherited an automatic, ergo no manual for me.

Manual is more fun...
Until you hit 6 miles of stop and go traffic on the freeway. That or have to get stuck on any of the many many steep hills in the major west coast cities, you know the ones where the guy pulls up two inches off your rear bumper.

I can drive a manual, but I much prefer an automatic. Special cases aside, why would you not want to drive one in an everyday vehicle?

After driving my car for years, its weird driving an automatic... so boring.

I could drive stick...until I took Driver's Ed. And then I lost the ability to do it and I kill the car every time I try now. So now I just stick to an automatic.

I started driving earlier this year, and it's been automatic all the way, for me~

I'm considering learning to drive a manual sometime in the future.

Well, living in California I guess you can say I grew up driving Mexicans! (get it? California uses Mexican labor as slave labor.. slave drivers.. yeah I give up)
