Poll: March Mayhem 2014 Poll Finale

Thank you everyone for your involvement in the very first March Mayhem Qualifying Poll.

We have come to a bit of an impasse, there is a three way tie for the final two spots in the Indie Developer Poll and you guys get to make the final decision. The three developers have all done their part to make 2013 a great year in gaming.

This poll will be up til February 3, 10:00am EST so make your voices heard and help two lucky developers proceed to March Mayhem 2014.

I voted for 4A games, because they made my FPS of 2013: Metro Last Light.

A choice between The creators of the Metro series which some regard as the new Crysis in terms of graphical fidelity, Lucas Pope of Papers Please and the creators of Shank and Mark of the Ninja Klei Entertainment.

I'm going to have to go with 4A even though I loved Papers and Mark of the Ninja is my favorite stealth game.

The world and characters of Metro are just amazing, especially Pavel and

who I personally found to be better than Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite.

Putting past differences aside and voted for the developer of Paper's Please, since it is a unique idea for a game, even if it did beat out our saviour Aliens: Colonial Marines in the Pub Club poll :-/

Metro Last Light is an all round fantastic games, and what's more it's fantastic in so many areas. Papers Please was a worthy game of the year, but Metro Last Light displays the best sides of the development process. It shows how so many different people can come together and enhance every aspect of a game towards a common goal. The gameplay was right, the art was right, the sound was right. All the little choices that every person had to make worked, and what's more they fitted together.

That's why I think 4A Games deserves to be in the developer contest over Lucas Pope. As much as Pope's achievement was amazing, I think 4A's is even more so because so many people needed to be working to their best
