I prefer graphic novels normally, but if I had to choose, I'd go with Marvel.

Why the two threads? Also, I think we had this a plenty of times before.
Have to go with DC, since I don't know Dark Horse and Image very well and prefer DC over Marvel.

I don't know Image but I prefer Dark Horse over all the other options.

Interesting question, but one I have a longer than one line answer to:
I love silver age DC comics, Superman, Supergirl, World's finest etc etc (noticing a pattern?). But modern DC comics and me just don't click (mainly cos of all the ret-con stuff that's gone on, I still don't get all that stuff with Infinate Crisis).
Now the modern comics I do like are Marval. I really like the style of narative and the art design, plus the relatable heros, like the guys in X-men. So there we go.

I got to go with Marvel.

The X-men, Spider man, the Avengers, Captain America. They have always been my favorite when it comes to superheroes and they influenced my choice in Comics heavily.
