Do you think Marvel movies were better before or after Marvel started making them in house?

I think they have been better since they started making them. They seem to stay closer to the source material.

Yeah, I agree. Spiderman 1 and 2 were good and so was X-men 1 and 2. The other were just kind of meh or altogether bad in my opinion.

everything before the blade movies kinda sucked for marvel movies

everything after blade for the most part was pretty good with a few exceptions, such as the non-director's cut of daredevil and elektra, and it followed the source pretty good as well

stuff like X-Men and Spiderman allowed Marvel Studios to be created, which just helped to leverage the Marvel Universe and it's interconectivity

I just returned from... returning Iron Man to the place where I rented it. I was absolutely blown away. Sure, some issues with the movie (Paltrow is kinda' bad, I usually like her), but I loooooooved Robert Downey Jr. (RDJ) as Tony Stark. Great production values. And it was tons of fun. I know shit about Iron Man, but that movie makes me want to go pick up some comics. I believe that is a big sign of success. So I gotta say, whatever they're doing now is all good in my books.

Generally I think they've improved, but a few series took a sharp nosedive. X-Men started strong, arguably improved in X-Men 2 and sucked hard in X-Men 3. The recent Hulk movie was better though. *shrug*
