Superhero Universe wise, I prefer the marvel universe. I read more DC comics though, mostly because of Vertigo and how much great writers and artists clamour to work on Batman.
Marvel has X-Men, DC has Batman

This is a tough one, I can't decide.

Firstly: We don't like Vs threads. Stop it.
Secondly: Shonen Jump, just to be an annoying gimp. Plus I'm reading way more manga than other comics right now.

This is a real toughie. I love Marvel, Civil War, Extremis, World War Hulk, all some really fantastic stories filled with brilliant characters and to be honest, I like their movies better.
But DC has Blackest Night, No Man's Land, Flash Rebirth, and all the Vertigo classics like 100 Bullets, Y: The Last Man, and Transmetropolitan.
It's close, but I voted DC.

Why would I ever have to choose?
If I was choosing I wouldn't choose either. I would choose Vertigo or Dark Horse or something (although most of those are subsidiaries of Marvel or DC I know.

After a massive Batman binge I went on in recent months I would have said DC, but been going back to read all of Civil War and not only has it rekindled my childhood love of Marvel, it's also introduced me to some new stuff that I missed out on when I boycotted superhero stuff for years in order to read Preacher/Sin City/Transmetropolitan etc...
Also, outside of Batman I don't read much other DC stuff. (Plus I hate Superman).
Civil War is awesome though, although it does feel weird siding with Captain America over Iron Man, I like that they screwed with the idea of who was a do-gooder. Although I wish Spider-Man would swap sides, it's ok for Tony Stark, he's a millionaire with no family, I felt sorry for Peter Parker having to unmask.

Marvel or DC. Steak fries vs french fries. They are the same but different. And why must it be one or the other why not both? Also Come on man no vs threads. And another thing why this vs? you could have just type marvel or DC on google and gotten hundreds of vs threads this rather than making a vs thread which as stated is not cool.
DC. Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Watchmen and several other characters I like just for their existence despite not knowing a single comic they're in.
