Maybe it's just me but I find most Marvel heroes really unappealing.
DC on the other hand has all my favourites... the Flash, Batman, Green Lantern, Watchmen. Ah, the great men of our century. Furthermore I have the impression that DC has better story-writers, or at least I prefer their stories. Like the Green Lantern series, just great.
Not that I loathe Marvel, but I'd prefer DC comics every day. And the Dark Knight was a great boost for them after all of Marvel's films.
Btw: who else is really looking forward to the upcoming GL film?
Was never a really big fan of Marvel, the only character I was interested in was the Punisher, Just don't like spiderman prefer Batman. Same when you compare the films,
I like DC better, I do like Marvel though. Mostly because of Batman. I find it easier to get into DC comics due to the Animated Universe. DC also makes graphic novels, I don't think Marvel makes too many graphic novels (if any) just comic book issues.
Well, I like both of them but I'm gonna have to go with Marvel. All in all I just like the characters better, and Marvel does a much better job with continuity then DC, who tends to completely forget or retcon storylines just a couple years after they've happened. (In my experience, anyways) But I do love me some Batman and Flash.
I'd say Batman is my favorite hero. He's just so awesome. When you hear "I'm Batman," your only reaction is to shit yourself and get pummeled.
HOWEVER, I must say Marvel has the better line-up. Spiderman, the X-Men, other honorable mentions just stack up. Still, they're all beneath Batman.

Well, I don't know about you, but I can't wait for the 2012 remake of Spider-man, starring Robert Pattinson as the title character and Jonah Hill as The Rhino! Oh boy! Jonah Hill as Rhino?! God, that would not be a good fit at all...that's almost as bad as Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin...

By the way, do you know how to quote select parts of a person's post? The Sandman picture is starting to take up a lot of space.
