I've bought all the mission/ect packs that they've pumped out. I was thinking when borderlands was going to be pumping out more than 1 of the DLC game add-ons that there was going to be a game of the year edition with all the shit on (borderlands0it for the standard price ($59.99). To me it stands to reason that Mass Effect 2 would likely do the same. Fallout 3 has already done this with it's DLC. But in the end I really just don't want to wait.

Well, I would get all the DLC... if I could. I had borrowed a friends Xbox for a few months, and played that game. I LOVED IT! When it comes to the PS3 in January, I hope all the DLC comes with it.

I've got them all so far, the paid ones and the free ones. Apart from the new weapons, I'll get those along with Lair of the Shadow Broker when it comes out.

This is primarilly because I'm now Bioware's *****. I love the Mass Effect games too much to pass up another chance to play them, and therefore I will pay through the nose for DLC regardless of wether it's actually good or not.

For the most part though, I've enjoyed the ME DLC, so I have high hopes for LotSB (too many acronyms?) Part of me wishes I hadnt cheated on Liara now too...

So far, I have all the DLC (including the weapons and armor, which for the most part are really cool) for ME2 except Overlord, which as soon as I get the money I will buy. And then I'll buy Shadow Broker, which I'm excited as hell for. I cannot get enough of ME2, it's just a fantasticly awesome game of amazing.

I don't buy DLC. Not really on any principle but I've just not seen anything that moves me. I just think about all the great full indie games I could buy for the price of a couple hours of DLC.

I?m too lazy to get a job, although I?m 15 anyway. My parents rarely buy me anything so I won?t be getting any MS Points any time soon unfortunately. However I?ll probably get all of them eventually.

I don't buy DLC, because I feel most of it was something they left out, so they could charge $15 for it, in order to refill the cocaine bucket.

I've bought Kasumi and Overlord (and got cerberus network "free" with my ME2), i'm also going to buy the new story DLC, i'm not spending a dime on new helmets or stuff like that though, that should have been included in the cerberus network (the equipment DLC's)

I picked up the paid for DLC a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it well enough. I liked the new weapons and missions. Honestly wish they'd make Kasumi a proper character as opposed to a DLC one, because it would give some time to actually explore the character. (as has been pointed out above, there are some problems, but I think the problem is that she's never explored, rather than her being incoherent. Interesting humans are always full of contradictions) I think DLC characters that function like Zaeed are a mistake, because I don't know about everyone else, but half the reason I play a bioware game is for my party. I'd rather have less, supremely fleshed out characters than more one-liner spouters, please. I'll definitely be picking up lair of the shadowbroker, but I would love some real -substantial- content that gives me a chance to affect the universe and takes more than an hour to run through. I only grab this stuff because it's pretty cheap. And even then, I feel it should be a bit cheaper for what you get.

Like I said, I enjoy it, but not unreservedly.

I've got 'em all except a couple bling packs.

I've found Kasumi to be one of the weakest. I'd go into detail but Starke already did that for me. Thank you Starke.

I'll probably get the Shadow Broker one eventually. Hopefully you'll actually be able to interact with Liara on the ship instead of just clicking things in the room to make her talk, like you do with Zaeed and Kasumi...

I've purchased all of them - and I have to recommend Overlord. It's a great story pack.

I think DLC in this fashion is a terrible idea.

There are two ways to do DLC imo, one is the way of Mass Effect/DA:O and similar games, one is the way of Guitar Hero type games.

DLC in Mass Effect is usually just a crappy short story. The length is simply too short to be able to make a significant impact on the main story, and since EA/Bioware cannot be sure that everyone plays it, it would be silly to give the story a big role in the sequel. Hence it is just a small sub-par episode of Mass Effect. Imo the time spent making it could have been better used at making the main quest better/longer.

The guitar hero type is DLC in form of a new song/set of songs. The good thing about this is that Guitar hero type games are only as fun as their set-lists and that a well made new song here can be as good or even better than any part of the main game. This makes the song far more enticing as a buy, and it feels worth the cost. It brings something lasting to the game.

If I could choose I would choose no DLC, but if it has to stay...at least use it right.

I love the Locust SMG you get with Kasumi's, unfortunately it seems it's the best part of that DLC :\

I have all of it to date except for the Alternate Appearance Pack (it's just clothing; weapons and armour are what interest me the most) and the Overlord Pack (from what I heard it's merely a sidequest, albeit an awesome one). I MIGHT get the Shadow Broker pack on release if there's some weapons or something with it. Of course, having 87MB left on my 360's HHD doesn't help much.
